Yes, I am keeping a close eye on the flowers of this potted plant. Today a spider rested on it, and boy, was it hard to get a clear shot of it with a macro lens when the wind is blowing!

I like this shot! This lens is 60mm? As in 90mm after the 1.5x crop in a digital camera, izzit?
Thanks! Yup - lens is 60mm macro. Shop person said its equivalent to 100mm, made especially for 20D and 350D. 1.6x i think. They also have a 100mm macro which would be a monster!
Nice! Is the black background an edit?
The background is actually trees. The advantage of having a macro lense and shooting wide aperture (f2.8)! No photoshop involved except for changing image size and saving in lower resolution for flickr.
